President/CEO

  • Create the initial business, marketing and event plan and other supporting structure to allow WeMN to grow and prosper.

  • Meet with new or potential board members to ensure mission is upheld.

  • Provide support and leadership to the Board of Directors’ Team in a respectful and cooperative way.

  • Encourage strategic alliances and look for opportunities to improve upon the quality and value of our offerings to our members.

  • Create the Strategic Plan to complement the Operating Plan and the Marketing Plan

  • Set and manage the yearly priorities.

  • Attend all meetings of the Board of Directors


Hospitality Director

  • Ensure that meals, drinks, and hospitality-related items are secured for each event

  • Check in with President and Treasurer on a regular basis to discuss ideal meal costs and work to stay within that budget

  • Maintains constant communication with Membership/Marketing director to collect event attendee headcount and dietary restrictions for all events

  • Attend all meetings of the Board of Directors


Programming Director

  • Book high-quality speakers for WeMN monthly member meetings

  • Find and reserves venues for member meetings

  • Communicate and confirm speaker equipment needs

  • Attend all meetings of the Board of Directors


Business Development Director

  • Build relationships with organizations throughout the community and build a pipeline of prospects
  • Cultivate sponsorship opportunities for monthly events and biennial conference
  • Develop Annual Community Outreach Plan and Strategies
  • Work with Membership Director, Marketing Director, and Social Media Director to share information and increase awareness of WeMN
  •  Attend all meetings of the Board of Directors
