About Us

Our History

Women Entrepreneurs of Minnesota (WeMN), was established on May 15, 2007, by Amalia Moreno-Damgaard and Cyndy Arey as an informal networking group for women entrepreneurs in the Twin Cities.

On October 27, 2007, the group was formalized and legalized as a non-profit 501(c)6 organization.

Since WeMN’s inception, the WeMN Board has grown and programming has expanded to include networking and educational events, Peer Mentoring Program and biennial conference.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide personal and professional growth opportunities for entrepreneurial women leaders in the Twin Cities through education, mentoring, peer advisory, and collaborative networking.
