The Federal Government has goals for contracting with Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) and can restrict competition through contract set asides as a means of achieving its goals. We will discuss the eligibility requirements for the WOSB and EDWOSB federal contract program and whether your business is ready to participate.
Maribel joined SBA in 1994. In 2003 she transferred to Minnesota from Rochester, New York and brought with her a deep knowledge on SBA loan programs and services. Fluent in Spanish, Maribel runs entrepreneurial classes in two languages and assists with government contracting program management and outreach.
